Lita Ford and her All Star Band shredded the House of Blues Anaheim over NAMM Weekend. Her All Star Band consists of Patrick Kennison on guitar and backing vocals, Marty O’Brien on Bass and Bobby Rock on Drums.

Lita says “Patrick Kennison” is our latest and greatest addition to Team Lita! He shreds on guitar and is killer at singing backing vocals. He adds so much energy to the already thunderous sound, just another reinforcement that we will be blowing the doors off the place, and killing it in our future recordings. We are able to bring down the house together with Marty O’Brien jamming on bass and Bobby Rock behind us bashing the drums; And Bring Down The House They Did!

Lita-2-2

This night Lita and her band completely KILLED it at the House of Blues in Anaheim. The night opened with the local LA favorite band Stonebreed, and then suddenly you could feel the intensity in the crowd as Lita and her band walked onstage. The crowd went crazy and then Lita brought up Gary Hoey onstage, who worked with Lita on her “Living Like A Runaway” CD As Producer and co-songwriter. They set the stage on fire and Lita proved that indeed “The Bitch is Back!” Lita and the band kept the crowd in a complete frenzy as they shredded their way through the setlist.  There were so many highlights, “Bitch is Back”, “Relentless”, “Living Like a Runaway”, “Can’t Catch Me” (Co-Written by Lemmy Kilmeister) with an incredible drum solo by Bobby Rock,

and of course “Close My Eyes Forever” which was the duet between Lita and Ozzy Osbourne (Co-Written by Ozzy), the song had the entire crowd singing at the top of their lungs. Lita was ready to rock the house all night long but security told her that she had to cut her set short; Lita responded to security by telling the audience that she will not be pushed around or intimidated into cutting her set short as she was a last minute fill in for LA Gunns who couldn’t do the show. The audience cheered Lita on for sticking to her “Guns” and she played on, finishing her set with a fan favorite “Kiss Me Deadly.”  Lita and her band set the crowd on fire leaving EVERYBODY wanting more!

Lita Ford is considered one of the most important female representatives of the rock genre. Being a founding member of the Runaways, one of the first girl groups who unexpectedly broke down barriers in the punk era as well as the male-dominated world of rock music, causing a stir with their six rebellious releases.
